What is "Relational Organizing" ?
Mapping Your Network
Let’s think about how to build our lists of people we want to reach out to -- people like our friends and family, or people we interact with regularly like our neighbors, people we are in groups or clubs with, and people we talk to online. Who did you go to school with? Who do you work with? Who are the last people you texted? Who did you match with recently on a dating app? Who’s in your neighborhood, Sports, Book clubs, Religious Organizations or other community organizations?
Craft Your Narrative
Stories can help us connect with others and move people to action. To build your narrative, learn how to share three stories...
Tips for Success
Never underestimate the power of a good conversation! What makes for a winning campaign is spending time and care cultivating our relationship with voters. Our party thrives on these meaningful conversations, and luckily, they can be really simple if you keep a few things in mind:

Now that you identified who you can talk to about Angella and the NDP, it's time to start REACHING OUT! We're working on some prompts to use when reaching out to the people you know, and some examples of social media posts, bios, and captions to get the conversation flowing. As these things become available, they'll be posted here, alongside other instructions.

Tips for Success
Ask them what they care about - Invite them to engage with you on the issues, what are they most concerned about? Is it tuition fees? Affordable housing? Pharmacare? This is really important information!
Get personal - Feel free to share why you are part of Angella’s team! What drives you to get involved? Why do you think this is important? Don’t underestimate how relatable your story can be, you’ve got something to say and people want to listen.
Find answers - Don’t be afraid to say that you don’t know! If someone asks a question that you don’t know the answer to, tell them that you don’t know, but that you can find someone that does! Contact our team here!!
Have fun - We do this work because we think it matters, but we should also do it because we enjoy it. When you are enjoying yourself, the person you’re talking to will be more engaged in what you have to say.
